Living out and Giving out . . .

Awana

Awana will resume February 10th. Check-ins will take place upstairs in the Welcome Center, walk your child downstairs and drop them off in our large group area, and then exit out the doors downstairs. Pick-up: enter upstairs and there is an area downstairs near the kitchen where you could wait. Pick up is at 8pm. Please have your child wear a mask.

The name Awana stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed, and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15 which says, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”

Awana is an exciting program for kids to learn about God’s love and His plan for their lives. Club meetings consist of 3 parts:

  • Large group time – Bible story
  • Small group time – Bible memory and handbook
  • Game time

Our Awana program is separated into several different clubs:

  • CUBBIES – ages 3-4 (by 9/1)
  • SPARKS – grades kindergarten-2nd
  • TRUTH & TRAINING – grades 3rd-5th
